Activist Lab: the campaign training for young people
A better world. That is what activists want to achieve. But how do you create a better world? Find out at Activist Lab, an Oxfam Novib initiative.
Oxfam Novib supports people who stand up for equality. We help activists in their fight for an inclusive, fair, safe and green world.
One of the ways we do this is with Activist Lab, a training programme for young people up to 30 years of age. Together with other activists, you will get to know the secrets of a successful campaign. Learn more about actions that contribute to global and systemic change.
What is Activist Lab?
Activist Lab is a practical training of three days. You conclude the training by taking to the streets with your own offline campaign. This way you can immediately put your new inspiration and skills into practice.
How do you stand up against inequality? You immerse yourself in strategic campaigning and learn the tricks of the trade from Oxfam Novib employees and international activists. This also helps in expanding your network. After all, together you are stronger than alone.
Activist Lab pays special attention to inclusivity issues. How do you achieve change in and for this world? How do you do that in an inclusive way? Each edition focuses on a specific topic, such as climate justice or gender and sexuality.
