Activist Lab is an opportunity to gain knowledge about influencing campaigns, develop your campaign skills, and exchange knowledge and network with activists within and outside the Netherlands. Join us in the fight for an inclusive, fair, safe, and green world. 

Activist Lab is for young people between the ages of 18 and 30 who are passionate about fighting inequality and want to make a difference. Whether you're already an activist or just starting out, sign up!

You don't need any experience leading campaigns or expert knowledge on topics like migration or climate justice. If you're looking to learn new skills and expand your international network, Activist Lab is perfect for you. So... live in the Netherlands and ready to take action? Below you'll find an approximate schedule of the training days (this may vary).

Today, we take the first step in your journey as a changemaker. Our day starts with an introduction, where you'll have the chance to meet your fellow participants and build a network of like-minded individuals. 

• Getting to Know Each Other: We'll begin with a session to get to know each other.  This is your opportunity to start building a strong, supportive community.
• Introduction to Oxfam Novib: Learn about who we are, our mission, and our global impact. Discover how Oxfam Novib supports activists and communities in their fight for a more just and equitable world.
• First Session on the Subject (e.g., Migration): Dive into the topic of the day with expert-led discussions and interactive workshops. Gain insights into the complexities and challenges of the subject, and start to think critically about potential solutions.
• First Dip into Campaigning: Get a taste of strategic campaigning with a hands-on activity. You'll learn the basics of creating and executing a campaign, setting the stage for more in-depth learning in the days to come. 

Welcome to Day 3 of Activist Lab! Today, we focus on equipping you with the practical skills needed to execute your campaign and make a tangible impact. 

• Public Speaking Workshop: Begin the day by sharpening your public speaking skills. This workshop will cover essential techniques for engaging an audience, delivering your message clearly, and handling questions with confidence. This workshop is particularly tailored to the Action Day.
• Test your Actions on the street: By testing your actions with random strangers on the street you get first, valuable feedback. It's also an opportunity to integrate your newly acquired public speaking skills.
• Hands-On Campaign Preparation: Transition from theory to practice as you prepare for your campaign launch. You'll have dedicated time to finalize your action plan, review your campaign materials, and address any remaining questions or concerns.
• Action Plan Review: Conclude the day by presenting your final campaign plans. Receive feedback from trainers and peers to ensure you’re ready for a successful launch. 

By the end of Day 3, you’ll be equipped with the skills and confidence needed to bring your campaign to life and make a real difference. Let’s turn your plans into action and achieve impactful results together!
