Are you looking for an applied or a research focused internship in the development field? The Oxfam Novib Academy offers internship opportunities for students who want to make a meaningful contribution to our programmes and campaigns.

The Oxfam Novib Academy bridges academia and practice within the field of development work.

Experience shows that by connecting your theoretical mindset with our practical experience and by stimulating personal & organizational development, we can better deal with the ‘wicked problems’ our work is addressing. By offering internships in our programme and campaign teams, we aim to give students worldwide the opportunity to contribute to improving the quality of our projects. Our academic and applied internships run twice a year with intakes in February and September. The internships take place in our The Hague office.

What’s in for YOU?

The Oxfam Novib Academy guarantees for a high-quality internship experience in which you get the opportunity to develop personally and professionally. During the time of the internship, you will be guided by a mentor with whom you define and keep track of your learning and professional goals. Next to that, the Oxfam Novib Academy forms a community of like-minded students of diverse backgrounds who will inspire each other every day. With the academy, you will receive interesting skill workshops such as on Lobbying, Innovation or Theory of Change. On the Oxfam Novib Academy Blog, you have the opportunity to showcase and reflect on your work as many interns have done before. We assist you in creating the biggest possible impact with the work and knowledge you contribute to Oxfam Novib. Because your knowledge and insights matter.
