In line with the driving motivation behind the Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness, all affiliates are now moving towards a unified approach to the strategic management of country programmes. In each of the 99 countries where Oxfam currently works, one affiliate is taking the lead.
When this process is complete, Oxfam Novib will be the lead affiliate in Angola, Cambodia, Egypt, Kyrgyzstan, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Somalia, Uganda, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. We will ensure a unified Oxfam strategy covering emergency response, long-term development programming and campaigning.
Oxfam Novib takes seriously the obligation to maximise the impact of each and every donation. Our unified approach will enable us to be even more coordinated, streamlined, effective and efficient in reaching those who need us most.
