The National Postcode Lottery is a true pillar of Oxfam Novib. Its contribution of more than 15 million euro per year permits us to help hundreds of thousands of extra people on their way to an independent livelihood.

Oxfam Novib was one of the first six beneficiaries of the National Postcode Lottery when it was founded in 1989. Every year we revel in a contribution of millions. The Postcode Lottery was set up by Oxfam Novib’s founding father, Simon Jelsma.

Every year Oxfam Novib gets another chance at extra money from the National Postcode Lottery. For special projects. As such we were able to set up clinics and school in DR Congo together with Médecins sans Frontières. And together with War Child we have provided trauma counselling and job training to former child soldiers in North Uganda.
